As a small town girl from New Brunswick, Canada, there is so much of the world I’ve yet to see – something I needed to immediately change. I assumed, once I finished my four years of university, I’d know exactly what I was going to do with the rest of my life, where I was going to do it and who I was going to do it with. Apparently, things don’t always turn out the way you plan.
With a bachelor’s degree in hand, and no clue what to do with it, I realized that this is the time where I finally hold all of the power. This is the time where I can do crazy and unpredictable things. I did everything everyone always expected me to do, and now that I’ve graduated, it’s finally time to do something for me. I can finally be my own compass.
So, as I travel the world, gain experience, and meet new people along the way, this blog will serve as a guide to help young minds who are embarking on their own personal pilgrimage to gain some perspective and learn the ways we can share, discover and grow through travel and experience. To help our generation realize how much lies beyond classrooms and textbooks, beyond the assembly line we’re often placed and to offer advice on how to go off the beaten path towards a spontaneously amazing and educational experience. It’s for the gypsy souls who are looking for more and how to find it; it’s a place to share experiences and grow together through adventure; to ignore the past and the future and focus on the NOW and to discover how wonderful the journey really is.
I’ll be posting new articles every Sunday, so stay tuned!
